Bradley Employment Consulting was founded in 2019 by Prisca Bradley who has worked for over 23 years in the field of Employment Law, HR and Training.
Prisca developed her expertise from 13 years in private practice as a Solicitor, Partner and Director. She led a highly successful Thames Valley employment team advising over 250 Independent Schools, Colleges in the University of Oxford, National Manufacturing Companies, Professional Associations and other household names. She successfully pursued cases in the appellate courts including a win at the UK Supreme Court (Verma v Barts and the London NHS Trust [2013] UKSC 20). Before working in private practice, she was a Senior Adviser at the British Medical Association helping GPs in partnership and hospital doctors and she also headed up the Employment Rights arm of a local lottery-funded charity in Oxford.
For many years, she held the position of Chair of Trustees for a local charity. She also supports the EFLIT summer programme with the University of Parma and assists with the MBA programme at Warwick Business School. She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association (UK) and the Industrial Law Society.
Driven by a desire to provide high quality advice in a more client-focussed way, Prisca set up Bradley Employment Consulting offering best practice, empathetic and pragmatic employment law and HR advice to employers mainly in the Education, Charity, Manufacturing , Tech and Retail Sectors. She believes that all businesses and organisations can enhance performance and reputation by a programme of deliberate people-focussed activity including training and upskilling managers and investing time and effort in creating cohesive and inspirational leadership. Prisca's interest in the psychological and neurological dimensions of the employment relationship and environment has resulted in Diversity and Inclusion training beyond what would normally be covered in an exposition of the statutory discrimination framework. In her workshops, she covers concepts including unconscious bias, neuroscience, behavioural science and micro-aggressions. She has developed a mental health awareness and wellbeing training programme. She has also published a range of wellbeing resources via her sister site www.workwellforlife.co.uk
Prisca has a particular interest in safeguarding advice including risk and reputation management for charities and Independent Schools and Colleges in the University of Oxford. She has designed and delivered training to law firms, Oxford Colleges and Warwick Business School MBA programme on diversity, equality, inclusion and unconscious bias. She advises businesses on policies, contracts, handbooks, settlement agreements and other corporate documentation as well as conducting EDI and compliance audits.
Media: Prisca is often asked to comment for the BBC on maternity rights, discrimination and flexible working as well as current developments in employment law. She has written articles for HR and Business journals and the national press.
